Inclusive processes require access to information. Inclusive Development for Citizens is committed to ensuring that citizen’s right to access the documents and proceedings of the government is exercised.
This is done in attempt to strengthen;

  • Transparency in process and access of information about the government
  • Participation of the citizens in the governing process and decision making about things that matter
  • Collaboration by encouraging citizens in participation and engagement in finding solutions to numerous problems by providing ideas, views and positive contribution.

Inclusive Development for Citizens believes in an Open Government as it enhances democracy and places the community at the center of the governance process. With this; it seeks to promote inclusive processes, evidence and structures to ensure that policies and their implementation reflect and integrate the perspectives of diverse stakeholders. This is achieved by supporting public transparency, openness and engagement mechanisms that inform citizens about government’s intentions and actions and that provide them with ways to express their opinions.
