We are looking for a great Rails engineer to take over in-house development. Responsibilities:

* Overseeing all technological aspects of HowAboutWe.Com. (The site includes, for all intensive purposes, a similar set of functions to other internet dating and event sites-- social networking features, a recommendation algorithm, a subscription system, an event database, etc.)

* Implementing on-going iterations, A/B testing, new functionality, etc.

* Executing technologically-driven marketing campaigns

* Overseeing site analytics.

* Project managing any necessary tech outsourcing/contracting.

• Solid Ruby/Git development experience

• Solid consumer facing design skills using HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience working with databases (Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL)

• Ability to write clean, DRY Ruby code in an iterative and agile environment.

* Startup experience a huge plus.
